With the passage of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) sections 1021, 1022, our Federal government now asserts that they can (unconstitutionally and illegally) arrest an American Citizen without a warrant and incarcerate them without a trial. In a speech railing against this horrible law, Senator Rand Paul explained
, “something as simple as homeschooling your children, or having more than 7 days worth of food on hand could indicate that you are a “terrorist” in the Government’s eyes.” Heller, Heck, Reid, and Berkley have teamed up with Obama to pass this treasonous law. Romney has declared that he will support it if elected. If you stand against government corruption will you be labeled a terrorist?
How can ANY of my rights and freedoms be secure if the President can, by whim, call me a “terrorist” and order troops to kidnap me?
The newly passed HR-347 makes it a federal offense to protest at any place attended by any person with secret service protection – even if the demonstrator has no idea that a political figure is inside the building! Heller, Heck, and Berkley also voted for this blatant attack on our first Amendment rights.
Obama’s administration recently asserted that they can declare war without authorization from congress, in defiance of our Constitution. U.S. Rep. Tom Tancredo said “Secretary of Defense Panetta declared before the Senate Armed Services Committee that he and President Obama look not to the Congress for authorization to bomb Syria but to NATO and the United Nations”. This stance is unconstitutional, and according to Congressman Walter Jones (R-NC), an impeachable offense. On march 17th the Examiner stated that Obama had declared “the power to control and allocate energy, production, transportation, food, and even water resources by decree.” Obama declared that he can take over industry in the name of “national security” even under peacetime. These are the typical songs of a third world dictator and are obvious acts of treason against our great Constitution.
Congress recently tried to censor free speech on the internet through SOPA legislation. They were met with a huge public outcry, and forced to back off. In response Obama bypassed Congress by agreeing to similar legislation in the ACTA trade agreement. Now there is yet another attack on our First Amendment called CISPA. It seems that government doesn’t appreciate having their crimes exposed on the internet.
George W Bush gave the NSA vast (unconstitutional) powers to spy on Americans. Obama has expanded their authority. In defiance of our 4thAmendment, everything you say on the phone, or write on the internet is being recorded. The TSA is now on highway checkpoints as well as in our airports groping children in violation of the 4th Amendment to the Constitution. It is more likely that the average American be killed by a honeybee sting than be attacked through terrorism.
Cameras seem to be on every corner, but have you seen the new ones? They include microphones, cameras, and speakers- so Big Brother can bark orders to his slaves! Drone spy planes are patrolling American skies now; weaponized now, and the Feds are expecting 30,000 more! Our rulers love automated systems. No pesky operators with a conscience getting in the way!
If all of this isn’t insane enough, The New York Times reported on April, 3rd 2012, that the Supreme Court has ruled, that an American can be strip searched for a crime as simple as jaywalking. According to a supporting brief filed by the American Bar Association, international human rights treaties ban the practice.
Last year Fox News reported that police are using a device made by the Cellebrite company to unconstitutionally download data from handheld phones without obtaining a warrant. When citizens like Las Vegas resident Mitchell Crooks video-record the actions of the police without interfering, they are often beaten and arrested. Across the country, government often stands in defense of these despicable police officers.
On May 26th the Telegraph reported that the flag of Al-Qaeda could be seen flying over Libya. This comes shortly after the CIA interfered in the Libyan revolution. The Government says that the identity of the Navy Seals who killed Bin Laden must be protected due to the possibility of retaliation. However Obama and his agents don’t seem to be concerned for their own safety.
According to the UKs “Guardian” Newspaper the latest “Underwear Bomber” had ties to the CIA. More and more often, Americans are wondering if the “War on Terror” is simply being manufactured to allow government to separate us from our liberties.
